PocketClients ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website pocketclients.us and the PocketClients application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed (encrypted) password. We also store your account type (homestead, cleaning, or bakery) so we can tailor the app to your business.
Customer and order data. The customers, orders, notes, and preferences you enter into PocketClients are stored on our servers so you can access them across devices. This data belongs to you.
Session data. We use server-side sessions to keep you logged in. A session cookie is stored in your browser. It contains no personal information — just a session identifier that maps to your account on our server.
Usage information. We may collect basic, anonymized usage data (such as which pages are visited or when the app was last used) to help improve the product. We do not use third-party analytics trackers like Google Analytics.
Information we do NOT collect. We do not collect payment card information directly. If and when payments are processed, they are handled by Stripe, which has its own Privacy Policy. We do not collect your location, contacts, camera, or any device permissions beyond what a standard web browser session requires.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not share your customer list or order history with any third party for any commercial purpose.
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including password hashing (bcrypt), HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, and server-side session management.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security vulnerability, please contact us at hello@pocketclients.us before disclosing it publicly.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and associated customer and order records within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained for analytical purposes.
